"We are generous."That’s a snippet of a line from the About Us page on our website where, among other things, we list our company values. The entire quote is: “We are generous. We enthusiastically share our knowledge and time to help others succeed.” Seems like a humble brag…but it’s one of my favorite Order Desk values! As the Knowledge Lead, my entire job revolves around how we as a company share the knowledge we have about our app and about ecommerce in general. That's partially why we send these monthly newsletters and pour so many resources into our wonderful Support team; we’re making sure we are giving all we can to help you succeed. A Warm Surprise You may have noticed that we've been spotlighting different partners each month. It can be difficult to whittle down a huge list of integrations, so this is the place to get to know some of our amazing partners in a more personal setting. FibertArt is a Weave-on-Demand business that uses Jacquard Looms operated by skilled weavers to create custom upholstery and soft tapestry items. When Gem, our Head of Partnerships, reached out to them to ask if they’d like to be featured in the newsletter this month, they asked if they could send a sample of their product over to her. Imagine Gem’s delight when she opened up a package from FiberArt to find not one, but THREE tapestry blankets, all customized with Order Desk branding! Gem is from New Zealand, which is well into a chilly winter this time of year. Perfect timing for something cozy. There are many ways to show a generous spirit to those around you. We were also particularly struck by FiberArt's commitment to being a Second Chance Employer, giving people who are post-addiction and post-incarceration opportunities to have their first job as they re-enter the workforce.
